Overview & Reviews
The power rear hatch is now standard on all models, as is wood and leather trim for the shift knob and steering wheel. The power passenger seat is upgraded from four-way to eight-way while the optional navigation system gets Bluetooth capability and voice actuated control. Last year's standard six-disc CD changer moves to the options list, making way for a standard single-CD setup.
- Well-appointed interior, rides more like a sedan than an SUV, loaded with high-tech features, solid reputation for reliability, excellent dealer service.
- Less powerful than some of its competitors, soft ride makes for merely adequate handling in corners, no third-row seat option.

Outstanding - 2005 Lexus RX 330
By Sharon - March 31 - 5:56 pmThis is my 4th Lexus RX and they just keep making them better with each model. The new RX330 has comfort and styling while maintaining safety to the highest level.

First SUV - 2005 Lexus RX 330
By Joyce - March 22 - 5:43 amI like the feel of driving it... it is a comfortable ride that feels more like a car than a truck.. as some SUVs do. Decent amount of loading space for most items.

Great car... Love it! - 2005 Lexus RX 330
By travelingg - March 11 - 6:36 amI had an RX 300 for 4 years and did not think it could get any better. MY RX 330 is tremendous. I will never have a car without AWD and a GPS system. Cant recommend Lexus enough for quality, comfort, reliability and service. The Lexus buying experience is unique as they truly value your business.

Love my rx330! - 2005 Lexus RX 330
By kcarroll831 - March 8 - 8:07 amIm 17 and just bought my second car, and I love it. The only complaint is the power rear door.. Maybe I just dont understand it but the key fob button and the button the dash only work sometimes. Other times Itll try to open then just close. Its fun to drive, has some get up and go when you want it. Gas mileage is great, I average 23-24 in the city, 22 maybe in heavy stop and go. I hate when something raddles or shakes and this car is very solid. Even with the bass up and windows down no annoying noises! Very clean, classy, but fun car. Also I havent driven many cars but the few I have drove awful in the rain. This Lexus takes puddles better than my truck on 35s...

Great car, but ....... - 2005 Lexus RX 330
By mahesse - January 29 - 9:33 amThis is a great car, but underpowered. And dont buy it if you care about gas mileage. My biggest complaint however is with the navigation system. It does a poor job of routing often recommending roads that dont exist. Finding destinations is inconvenient. Not being able to operate it while moving makes it almost useless in many circumstances, when there is more than just one person in the car. Our other car has a Garmin that plugs into the lighter, and while not as pretty it is MUCH, MUCH better. I can look for restaurants or gas stations while driving, and we dont have to pull over. BTW, the Bluetooth doesnt always work either.

RX 330 - 2005 Lexus RX 330
By Jorymj - January 27 - 10:00 amThe RX 330 is fun to drive, very comfortable, and it drives like a car. The interior is beautiful, and the features are endless. The only complaints I have are; not having a chime when the fuel is low, and not having a coin holder accessible to the driver. The only problem has been the power lift gate motor. Lexus replaced immediately with no problems since. Maintainence is expensive, however the oil only needs to be changed every 5,000 miles. My next vehicle will most likely be the same, but newer.

A Top Performer - 2005 Lexus RX 330
By Jean Morrow - December 17 - 8:10 amThe Lexus RX 330 is one fine vehicle. It drives and rides like a car. It has great visibility. The speed control is the best of the cars that I have previously owned including a Porsche Bosxter, Cadillacs, Lincolns, Mercury, Chevrolets, Pontiac and Fords. The interior finish as well as the exterior paint is excellent. The car washes/finishes that are within the warranty are a real plus also. I am very glad I chose a Lexus and particularly the RX 330.

RX 330 - 2005 Lexus RX 330
By Marc and Carolyn - November 30 - 8:36 pmThis is the second RX we have had. Previously we had the 2001 and were so happy with it that we traded it in for the 2004 model. We have had no significant mechanical problems with the car to date. Would highly recommend the RX - fun to drive and nice to look at.
